Pink Floyd launch artwork for The Endless River, their first album in 20 years

Pink Floyd are likely to sell more of their latest album as downloads and on CD than vinyl, but they are still entreating their fans to listen to it as four “sides” of two LP records.

The Endless River, a reworking of unused material created for the Division Bell 21 years ago, will be released on November 10 as 18 tracks in four groupings the length of a side of a record to “invoke the album listening experience”.

Parlophone, which will be releasing the album, said that listeners would be able to buy the music as individual tracks, although they should be aware that this was not the way the band intended their music to be heard.
