Sir, Those of us who deal with death and dying in our professional lives never become inured to conversations about death, but we do recognise their importance (“The funeral plans that look on the bright side of death”, Feb 3). Dying Matters and the National Association of Funeral Directors are to be congratulated for this initiative, which along with writing a will is good advice to avoid distress and chaos after death.
