Q I have a friend who really doesn’t feel like a friend at all. She joined the company that I work for a few years ago and mutual interests drew us together. I knew from word go that she was incredibly temperamental. Looking back, I was both her listening post and post to lean on, but I can’t recall a time she’s ever been there to support me when I needed it.

She’s since left for a new job and now all I hear from her is that she hates the job, she’s made a mistake, that life is very unfair and that everyone else is at fault. I’ve tried to distance myself, but she’s asked me to be a bridesmaid at her upcoming wedding,
