What do fashion editors really wear? Anyone under the illusion that fashion eds practise what they preach may be disappointed to learn that, while happy to espouse the waist-whittling benefits of a boned denim jacket at Burberry, they themselves are more likely to be lusting after an understated Céline it-could-equally-have-come-from-Gap navy blue sweater.

Because nothing looks more wrong – or row Z – than rocking up head to toe in the season’s latest trends.
