Starbucks pours Graham’s milk into its stores

Graham’s The Family Dairy is to supply Starbucks with cream and milk in all its Scottish outlets, making the Bridge of Allan company the exclusive supplier to 68 coffee shops.

Robert Graham, managing director of Graham’s, said he was thrilled by the contract, the price of which was undisclosed, and that it would benefit the 98 farmers with whom the company works. Starbucks previously had sourced its milk and cream from several providers.

Ian Cranna, Starbucks’ vice-president of marketing, said: “Lattes are our most popular drink, so it’s important we use the finest local milk available.”
