Monster, the consumer electronics company, is planning to forge a partnership with Spotify to bundle its high-end headphones with streaming services to take the fight to Apple and Beats.

Apple Music, the streaming service, was launched last week in a move designed to catapult the iPhone maker back to the top of the music charts after its $3.2 billion takeover of Beats, the headphone brand, last year. The launch is seen as Apple’s attempt to claw back ground in response to other streaming services — notably Spotify — that have transformed the music market.

Noel Lee, the chief executive of Monster, which competes with Beats, wants to take the fight to Apple by signing a deal with Spotify to bundle premium headphones and streaming services
