Seven men were arrested this morning in Zurich:

Jeffrey Webb, 50 (Cayman Islands)
Charge: racketeering, wire fraud and money laundering
Roles: President of Concacaf, the governing body for American, Central American and Caribbean football, where he succeeded the disgraced Jack Warner. Also the president of the Cayman Islands Football Association, a Fifa vice-president and member of nine committees, including the executive committee and the organising committee for the World Cup. Formerly a member of Fifa’s transparency and compliance committee. Called for Michael Garcia’s report into possible corruption in the bidding process for the 2018 and 2022 World Cups to be made public.

Eugenio Figueredo, 83 (Uruguay)
Charge: racketeering, wire fraud and money laundering, also charged with naturalisation fraud
Roles: President of Conmebol, the governing body
