Hundreds of young boys are developing eating disorders every year and experts say that pressure to look perfect at a younger age is partly to blame.

Doctors said that it was unclear whether more people were getting ill, or if people were more willing to seek help from GPs who were more alert to the problem. But the study reveals for the first time the extent to which children are being treated for eating disorders.
